Graft Question

I have a complete tear for my ACL & I’ve seen that the quad tendon graft is awful to recover from. No meniscus injury thankfully, but wondering if anyone had a different graft for an ACL repair? How was your recovery? I haven’t really talked to my surgeon at all, I’m assuming we’ll go over this at my preop appointment but idk.
