Really bad visual processing when gaming on TV?

As the title suggests, I've been having this issue in which when I'm gaming on my PC monitor, closer to it, even if it's smaller, I have absolutely 0 issues, but when I switch to playing the same game on my much bigger TV, sitting maybe 2,5 meters away from it, I get overwhelmed with what I'm seeing to the point where I stop kind of understanding or processing what is happening on the screen. This always happens with more detailed, sometimes realistic games like Silent Hill 2, Cyberpunk, Yakuza.

I don't think it's a physical issue with my sight. I probably should get it checked anyways after years and years of looking at screens, but I know if they find something wrong with it it wouldn't be THAT much. And the thing is, when I play games with a harder, simpler art direction, like Persona 3, or Thank God You're Here, the issues just aren't there. I see and understand everything perfectly. Because I'm not overloaded with that much information (I think).

With Silent Hill 2 there were points where I was in a fight and couldn't focus properly so what I did was sit MUCH closer to the TV, and that seemed to solve it, which I thought was just because doing that reduced the field of vision my eyes had and lowered the amount of details they had to process. Again, I see everything on screen clearly, I have no blurry vision, it's just that it gets to a point where I feel kinda lost because stuff starts mixing together and I struggle to separate each individual detail on an environment so I feel like I'm mentally overwhelmed and need to consciously re-adjust to get back to understanding what I'm seeing.

Is this common? It's 100% something I assumed it was because of ADHD and focus/sensory processing issues, but I don't know if that's something you've experienced or have seen someone voicing experiencing in the past? Any advice you could give me to manage it? Thank you!!
