(CAN) - Any risk changing jobs while CPA Membership Applications is udner review?

I have completed all three requirements of the Canadian CPA program (PEP/CFE, PERT, Welcome to Membership) and my application is currently being reviewed (submitted a few weeks ago).

A job opportunity has presented itself, and I really want to accept. Start date is in a month from now. The employer is not a public practice firm, and is an entirley different job. I am currently in pre-approved audit, but all of my PERT/hours were verified already.

Is there any risk with swtiching jobs before I am officially designated? Can they downgrade PERT or deny hours or anything which could screw me over?

I might contact CPABC to see what they think. Curious if anyone else went through this.
