Should I get V16?

I have been using my Acer Nitro 5 (GTX 1650ti, 8GB RAM, 512GB) for a couple years now, and I'm finally switching laptops. I enjoyed mine and although the performance wasn't the best, the space wasnt, the battery died out quick, and it got very hot at times even in cold weather. It is just a budget laptop at the end of the day.

Im thinking of getting this V16 Ive been looking at, is it a good budget laptop? I'm not tryna spend a lot as I don't work as much as I used to, so I'm just looking for a good budget gaming laptop that is between $1k - $1.4k.

And what are other things I could get that could support the laptop? I'm already planning on getting a cooling pad.
