Flew roundtrip on different fare classes (Flex, Comfort) but SQM is the same, is that correct?
I flew a roundtrip, the outbound legs were Flex but the return was Comfort. I assumed it would be 100% SQM for the outbound Flex flights and 115% for the return Comfort flights but the Comfort legs showing up in my app with the same SQM as the Flex flights.
I know that in terms of cancellation and changes the most restrictive fare class applies but I did not think that was the case for SQM. I emailed [credits@aircanada.ca](mailto:credits@aircanada.ca) but they gave a generic response saying it is accurate without explanation.
Can anyone confirm what happens in situations like this? I can't find any explanation anywhere. I see this class of service bonus but it only appears to be points related and not SQM?
EDIT: this has been resolved. The class of service bonus on the mobile app DOES add to SQM, the wording is not clear. On desktop you will see a separate color band in the wheel showing your progress that breaks out 'Bonus SQM' which is the sum of the class of service bonus. The mobile app DOES NOT break out the bonus SQM which is also why it is confusing. I tallied everything by hand and it all checks out. Thanks to the thread!
