Question if I have a right to be upset?
We’re on vacation, and rented a local Airbnb. When we got here, the couch is missing a 4 inch leg, we sat in one of the barstools and the back fell off, a large kitchen drawer doesn’t seem to even have a track, the internet didn’t work, some of the power outlets don’t work, the pool baby gate is broken, and there’s caked dust on the base boards. After talking with the host, I went and picked up a new router this morning from Spectrum and installed it. She literally did not thank me for doing it, just liked the text message.
I don’t want to be “that guy.” However, cleaning is the one thing I feel host can control. Am I wrong? Should I ask for a discount? Just curious.
