Am I overreacting by being pissed at my best friend after she invited someone else on a trip without asking me?

Hailey, Evelyn, and I have been a trio since 2020. My friend Hailey (16F) invited her newer friend, Emma (16F), who she’s been friends with since 2024, on a fully paid vacation to Florida with her.

At that point, Hailey had recently started ignoring us and just hanging out with Emma. Evelyn and I didn’t really care-Hailey is allowed to have other friends. But when Hailey asked Emma to go to Florida with her, I was really offended. Evelyn and I are currently mad at Hailey—we’re not hanging out with her right now. Emma doesn’t know we’re upset. Hailey said she didn’t invite Evelyn because she assumed she wouldn’t want to come due to her fear of planes, so she didn’t bother asking. I have no idea why Hailey didn’t ask me, though—I thought we were really close friends.

I asked one of my not-as-close friends for her opinion, and she said Evelyn and I were overreacting. But I still think it was really shitty of Hailey not to even consider asking us. We’ve been best friends for 5 years, and have done everything with her. Evelyn and I have taken her on road trips and vacations for a while, and she has not returned the favor once. Besides, she only met Emma last year.
