LOA question
I’m sorry if this isn’t the right place to post this, but I recently took a mental health LOA and uploaded a screenshot of my diagnosis as the supporting document. I’ve worked with Amazon for over a year and I’ve always done this when things got too bad in my head for me to come in. I reserve this for once a month if needed.
Recently, my leave has been in a pending status for a few weeks but my return to work date was approved and I’ve been back at work with no issue. I figured it would resolve itself, maybe HR was swamped. Today, I received a call that I needed to provide a doctors note with the date of my leave to upload it by the 25th (a little over a week from now). I have no way of getting that note for a slurry of reasons and I accept the fact that I’m in this situation due to my own actions.
What I want to know is this; when my leave ultimately gets rejected due to a lack of supporting documents, what happens? Will UPT be deducted for the length of my shift (12hrs)? Or will I immediately be terminated? I just want to know so I can be prepared. Thanks for any advice you may offer!!
