Immigration and AfD/CDU

So I recently made a post here talking about how I love Germany and how I got married. But after finally getting my residence permit, I've been hit in the face with political posters everywhere, and the AfD/CSU seems to be gaining popularity. After doing a little research, I'm really worried. My goal is to eventually get German citizenship, and I'm currently working on integrating. I was born in the United States and I'm gay. What is the likelihood that I won't be allowed to get German citizenship and that they will make me leave? I love my husband, my new family, and this country. I really don't want to leave any of it. If anyone has any calming words for me, I'd highly appreciate it 😕
