National daycare program

All we hear is how expensive daycare is. However, does anyone think how much it costs to run a daycare? It is not a babysitting program. These people are trained educators who do not get the salary or benefits that public school teachers do. They provide the earliest building blocks in reading, science, math, phy ed. plus they have to deal with fact that in many cases it is the child's first venture away from home.
