I am on a very restrictive diet. I recently found frozen chicken I can eat. It would help me out if I could fking remember to take the chicken out to thaw!

Edit: please refrain from offering advice. I have used the rant/vent tag for a reason. I need comfort, not advice. As my last sentence reads "I just want to cry".

Edit 2: thank you to those who actually considered my first edit. For those who commented with validation and empathy, and even to those who avoided commenting. Wouldn't it be dandy if folks could appreciate how you need them to be there for you, especially when you tell them? Even if they can't follow through, they can just not partake.

Two days in a row I have forgotten to take the chicken out. This, after forgetting a few times last week.

Now I have to resort to ordering take out, again, which is going to destroy my body. And also I can't really afford it right now either.

And I'm already struggling emotionally this week.

This is the part about ADHD that I fucking hate!

Finally found something that would help me immensely, and I can't immediately adjust to the new routine, which results in suffering.

I have to now add daily reminders on my phone to take the chicken out of the freezer.

And then I have to add follow up reminders to ACTUALLY get up and physically take the GD chicken out, cause one alarm isn't enough.

I just want to cry.
