Were you successful in your very first teaching interview after finishing your degree?

I am waiting to hear back on an offer from my university and should hopefully start my MTeach (secondary) course next year. Even though I’m 29 and have worked before, one thing I’m most nervous about is going for interviews. From your experience, were you successful in your very first interview? If not, how many interviews did it take for you to get a full time job? How was your interview overall? Who do you use as references if you have never worked at a school before?
