SKR 3EZ board looks like it won't stay powered

It's been hell trying to find anything similar to what I'm experiencing with my BTT board.

I was very methodical doing the initial wiring when I was installing the board on my Ender 3 OG.

Once everything was wired (im running dual z, the 2nd z is run off of E0 or E1, BL Touch, and two endstops, x & y) and verified jumpers, I finally plugged in the PSU into the DCIN ports and did a quick test and powered it on. The power and status LEDs were illuminated so I turned it back off so I could work on firmware.

Finished the firmware and realized I probably needed a screen to see what was going on with the install so I plugged in the stock E3 screen based on the serial port in my firmware. That's when I noticed a potential problem..

The status and power indicators iimlluminated but only for a couple of seconds before fading off. I thought maybe it was a failsafe from a potential short or wiring issue so I replaced the fuses, lights didn't stay on longer than a couple seconds.

I will note that the prove did a self test and it was lit up as it should be. I began removing plugs from the board one by one to see if my wiring was the issue. I got all the way down to board and PSU wires.. nothing else. Still the lights just fade out. I've tried a second PSU, added the VUSB jumper and I'm at the point to where I don't want to mess it up anymore if possible.

Anyone know any troubleshooting or am I just over reacting and this is perfectly normal for the lights to fade out. Someone please help me...
