Monoferric iron infusion [on]

My OB wants me to get this iron infusion this week. I will be 34 weeks and due to placenta previa I am giving birth at 36 weeks .. my CBC and ferritin are low. I will be having a C-section. I have just read that this medication is not intended for pregnancy. I will of course try to call my OB, but I don’t know if I will get a call back before my infusion . I am worried about risks to my unborn baby after googling ?? Does anybody have any information or have anybody received this while pregnant?
