Teddy Bear Pool Party

My mom made this cake from Women’s Day magazine for me in 1990 for my 4th birthday and she just found it clipped in her recipe box and gave it to me. Our party activity was decorating the tiny swimsuits on the teddy grahams. She went a step further and put the cake in a pool of blue jello with fruit snack sharks in the water which looked incredible but made that part of the cake soggy. I didn’t care. I still think it’s adorable. The Harry Happy Face did not age as well.
