Guys I'm planning to purchase the original version of Cargo sneakers (i.e. the Y-B-W-G colorway), can you help me decide what size should I choose?

Due to its oversize nature, I really just want a snug fit. I am US Size 12 (Adidas and New Balance) which Cargo Sneaker sizing should I go to? The 40 or 42?
