Did I get overcharged for my gold chain?
So before buying this chain I did some research on reddit, regarding purchasing gold in Thailand. Through reddit recommendations i ended up going to Hua Seng heng.
As i understood it, u pay the gold price + makers fee. Left paper is how the seller broke down the price to me. Ended up expecting to pay 2600 in maker fee. From my research that was alr a bit on the high end, but i was like whatever.
Later in the taxi home, I look at the receipt and see that the diff between the gold value and final price is 3900. Did I get overcharged or is the ~1300 baht difference the price for the 3,5% alloys?
