[Unpopular Opinion] Akira Andrews NOT a hero

I found it so frustrating how Akira turned "eliminating someone" into a mission based purely on rumors. People really need to mind their own business and not waste time or energy holding grudges. You never know the full story behind why someone does what they do.

Honestly, I don’t like the Hakim brothers either, but credit where it’s due—they played a fair game. They didn’t break any rules they set: one brother sat out to avoid elimination, and the other competed—and he won. I’m not defending them, but they didn’t do anything so terrible that Akira needed to swoop in like some "Angel Hero" to eliminate them.

I’ll admit, the younger brother's smile during someone’s elimination does rub me the wrong way. But hearing Akira in Jeff Allen’s podcast really annoyed me. He openly admitted he didn’t pick the island because none of the Hakim brothers did, and his only goal was to eliminate them. He even said he wanted to "infiltrate" their group. Holding grudges and spinning it as heroism feels ridiculous.

Sure, the woman crying might’ve swayed public opinion, but let’s be real—it’s a game of chance. There’s only going to be one winner in the end, and having an ally improves your odds.

This might probably have happened because the brothers were bragging about them manipulating others. I personally would've loved to see Akira making "winning" as his main mission rather than eliminating.

I’m always open to learning and would love to hear other opinions on this!
