Best/worst encounter you’ve had with a local celebrity?

Met Pat Sullivan probably 10-12 years ago when he was still coaching the Samford football team. I worked at the country club where he was a member and stopped him one day to introduce myself. He was a super nice guy, seemed really genuine and down to earth. Following that day, if he saw me he’d stop and ask how everything was going, school, girlfriend etc.

Worst, I’d probably say Tony Kurre from the old wjox morning show. Technically I didn’t meet him, just saw him at the Cajun Steamer in Trussville a few times and he came across as an obnoxious drunk. Walked around there like he owned the place and was crazy loud. Seemed like he wanted everyone to know he was some kind of big deal.
