Way to discard redundant spells

What do y'all think of a way to discard redudant spells (all of the end of turn and start of combat spells that you can't double down on. I have had multiple times in spell generation comps where i can't cast half my hand. The mech spell of course is the worst offender as it also gives you mechs to gum up the hand. I know theres the quilboar that turns them into 4 gold, but you have to wait a turn for just one. Perhaps this would be too niche but its happened enough i wondered if anyone else had ideas about it.
