After a long frustration break from Bumble I finally had three great dates, and then this happened 🙃

For context, my dad is at the end of his life and I am his primary caregiver, so I probably wasn’t bringing up my parents very much (which is easy in the early stages of dating because you have so many other fun things to get to know about a person!). I also didn’t think I needed to address being black, because this was a black man who I originally bonded with over black culture so I figured us being the same race would be okay lmao????

I was going to just ignore him after he said that straightening my hair was misrepresenting myself but then days later he came up with that gem of a last instagram message. I guess he didn’t like my response so after I blocked him on IG he texted me from a burner number with the last slide.

Needless to say, I’m on another frustration break 🥲

Only positive takeaway is his use of the dodo bird emoji at the end, which I didn’t know existed and is now my new favorite emoji 🦤. Fucking cool.
