here's why I'm walking into math boards exam with half the preparation (presumably)... and no Regrets

Have you ever questioned yourself ki Do i really need to study so much for class 10th boards? Especially maths.

I see people solving RD Sharma, RS Aggarwal, NCERT cover-to-cover, every PYQ of every year, pulling 12-hour shifts, sacrificing sleep, wearing all-nighters like battle scars. I've been there too, pulling nights with bloodshot eyes, draining myself out.

But honestly? This whole "grind culture" without understanding the game is straight-up whack. Half of them don't even know why they're doing it — just chasing numbers, not knowledge.

I'm sticking to NCERT important questions, exemplar, and 10 years of PYQs from Oswal. Not because I'm lazy (theek agreed ki thoda lazy hu aur din bhar reddit scroll karta hu), but because I believe that a little smart work and effective studying can be 100x better than blind hard work.

Grinding isn't wrong. But turning yourself into a machine for marks that won't even define your life? That's the real scam. Stress, anxiety, depression — all for a number that won't even matter in five years?

I'm not aiming for full marks. I'm aiming for 70-75+ with my mind, peace, and self-respect intact. Maybe it's time others realised that the real win is walking out of this system without letting it break you.
