What helps you sleep?
Edit: Thanks to everyone who has commented but since I can't change the title please read the post before suggesting things I've already said don't work for me.
I have CPTSD + am currently undergoing an inescapable, long-term traumatic situation. I can't sleep through the night and wake up to heart palpitations because my body is pumping out stress hormones and I'm hit with an overwhelming sense of negativity and dread. This has been going on for almost a year and I desperately need to find a solution, which I think has to be medical. Melatonin and herbal supplements don't help and meditation/deep breathing isn't enough either. Other no's: Sleep hygiene, exercise, weed, cbd/cbn, antihistamines, magnesium, l-theanine.
Please help!
