Denji is Death devil , more specifically, death Devil is Denji mother
That's right folks , you heard it correctly , Death devil and Denji are one and the same being , or to be more specifically, Denji is an aspect or a "piece" of Death Devil making himself her child
How does this even make sense? Simply
as we all know , Devils (strong ones atlas)can be "splits" into tiny pieces be by themselves or from outside factors with said pieces having their own consciousness and individuality
Not only this but the stronger the Devil piece, the more it attracts devils to it
And who is the biggest Devils magent in the world? That's right , it's none other than Denji
You might say "But it's because of Pochita!!" Which isn't the case at all because the story literally started by having Denji attracted a Devil (Pochita) who suddenly appeared out of nowhere to his location , then as their lives goes on the more Devils appearance toward them , this is supported by the fact Denji knows about Devils needing human Bloods to Regeneration and about contracts despite being a small young uneducated child (keep up in mind that there's no Devil teaching programs and devils weren't really common by the time Denji meet Pochita) so how did a lil rat like Denji know all about this?
Second : Denji existence being basically a "Bad Omen" to everyone around him , his (human) mother died before he meet her, his father was killed by him , almost everyone he ever meet or know excluding selective few all died (said few are all protect by higher dimensional power , aka Fujimoto)
Despite it being near impossible for them to end to begin with , like Makima and Santa
Santa words over Denji "always stalked by Death" and the "bad luck " he and power find isn't just a throw in lines
Denji is consistently in Edge of Death , as if he is supposed to reunion with it but is unable to

When the horseman fight Pochita (which we don't know when , nor does it matter considering some Devils like Primals and Pochita power transcendence the concept of time and laws of the universe) Pochita was able to cut a very small piece of Death Devil , just a very tiny little unimportant piece of the strongest being in existence
That somehow find it way into the womb of a young unlucky sick woman who was a pregnant with a stillbirth
Said piece fused with our lil dead fella and due to the nature of both (death and dead) they cancelled each other out in a twisted cosmic play
