Peanuts - dude.

Been searching this thread, searching Dr. Google...and most opinions say peanuts are not so bad for LDL increase (within reasonable portions).

My doctor, in real life, said throw peanuts away, they are horrible, stay away from them...with my LDL of 130. He says they are not even nuts, but vegetables. Says eat walnuts, almonds, and tree nuts (will do).

But what about peanuts? What's the final word? He's the only source I have saying almost opposite of what I read up online.
