How do I know God's real?

I have been trying to be a christian for a 2 years or so. I have tried praying, ive read the bible and went to church a few times. I feel like ive made no progress. A lot of people say to talk to god but i can't hear his voice. Ever since a year ago Ive been doubting that he's real. I have kept trying but nothing's working. I've been having this thought that says "what if he's not real?"

Edit: I think there is a god, but how do we know its THE god that we know from the bible
