I can’t seem to move my xfinity router anywhere else I wanted to

Hello, so I’ve been wanting to move my Xfinity router a bit closer the connection is more even, but my router would not connect to the Internet if it’s plugged into any other coax outlet in my house, I tried two others, but for some reason, it would connect to the Internet just fine where I originally installed wifi, I don’t think there’s a problem with coax outlet itself, this has happened to me in the past in other places I lived, any help would be appreciated
