Getting banned from subs is not so bad.

Getting banned from a subreddit might seem annoying at first, but honestly, it just proves that the place was never worth your time to begin with. A real discussion space should be able to handle different opinions, even ones that challenge the norm. If a sub’s first instinct is to ban people instead of engaging, then it was never about open conversation, it was about controlling the narrative.

This kind of censorship happens when a community cares more about protecting its own bubble than actually debating ideas. If they can’t handle a different perspective without hitting the ban button, then it’s not a discussion forum. It’s an echo chamber. And an echo chamber isn’t where ideas are tested; it’s where they go to avoid criticism.

So instead of getting mad over a ban, wear it like a badge of honor. If you’re getting kicked out just for speaking your mind, you probably hit a nerve. That’s a good thing. It means you’re saying something that challenges the status quo, and that’s where real conversations start. If you're making people uncomfortable, you're probably on the right track.
