Puerto Jimenez for 7 days

Hi, my family and I are going to Costa Rica for our 3rd (and my parents’ 4th) time at new years, and have chosen to check out Puerto Jimenez this time! We plan to go to Corcovado NP for a day trip, and have made the reservations. Is there anything else anyone recommends doing or that we should book ahead of time?? We would love recommendations for things to do, restaurants or shops to check out in town, any special beaches or really anything cool to do!
