This was some time ago, but

Remember when Shelly and Jared flew out to California with Aubrey and Addison to try and get their birth certificates? Something that struck me as ill prepared because they didn’t know that, if you went in person, you had to go to the county the kids were born in to get them. They said they thought you could just go to any records office in the state and pick up birth certificates. So they flew to an entirely different area of California than the kids were born in, just to vacation. And they thought they could pick up the birth certificates wherever. I guess it’s an honest mistake if you don’t know, but why did they not even call the office or google this before they booked hotels and flights to travel there?

Once they found this out, they were already in California and said they didn’t want to drive the few hours to county office of the county the kids were born in to pick up the records there. They flew all that way for nothing. Also, you can get birth certificates online in California mailed to wherever you live in the U.S.

Anyone else remember this?
