”family time“

for me personally, if it was my family and i wanted to have ”family time“ (whatever their definition of that is), i wouldn’t even consider splitting up the family. that is NOT family time. the concept of that is just wild. sometimes i wonder if all the kids even have a relationship with each other, especially, if their important family time is not spend together. i get it’s a big family, but that makes it even more important to do things together. also, the fact that the kids have headphones on constantly is weird. overears in a restaurant during family time is CRAZY. sometimes even aaron has airpods in when doing stuff with his kids. it’s as if even if they don’t even care to have meaningful conversations and hanging out together is a chore lol.
