Placement Matches in Comp

What’s up y’all? With the new season comes the new comp grind and chasing the new shorty and emblem.

Bungie did say they were normalizing point gains and losses in comp to make it more understandable. I just played my 7 Placement matches and I’m confused. I won 6 of 7 playing fairly well individually in all 6(and decent in the 7th) and placed in Silver 1(right at the bottom).

What has your guys experience been with your initial placements? I’m trying to kind of consensus for this Episode’s Comp rankings.

P.S. I know there used to be a hard cap on the outcome of the placement matches ie you can’t get bigger than “x” rank…is that still a thing
