Organic Salt and Baking Soda/Powder?
My family has gone crunchy, and I've gotten used to purchasing organic foods. But I have been baking recently, and I cannot find certain organic ingredients. I've listed below, and I generally shop at Whole Foods or Sprouts. Hope it's alright I put those names.
Baking Soda: Bob's Red Mill has soda, but it's not labeled organic. It's non-GMO. But it's also just a chemical. Can it even be organic? If so, is there another recommendation?
Baking Powder: Same question, but Bob doesn't even have this so I'm looking for other brands.
Salt: Again just a chemical. So can it even be organic? I read a couple companies have it, but when I look into it, it's actually flavored salt as a topping rather than just pure salt.
Gluten Free 1:1 Flour: I generally use King Arthur Gluten Free flour, but I'm noticing it's only Non-GMO and not labeled organic. Any other suggestions on 1:1 flour (not straight almond, sorghum, rice, etc., but a 1:1)?
The other thing here is I'm hoping to sell baked goods to the neighborhood, but I would like to label it Organic. If the above three are not Organic, I can't say the full product would be. Unless...there's no such thing as organic soda, powder, or salt. What do you think?
