Ongoing scrounged material shed build. All materials are reclaimed, skip finds, donated, or pallet wood.
Wanted to build myself a man sized Wendy house, but I’m tight so I have only paid for screws for this build so far, and I don’t plan on buying any materials at all. Frame work is built out of industrial pallets from a sheet metal factory, as is all the osb for the walls, glazing is left over from a summer house build at my allotment, tin sheeting roof was donated as was the pine flooring. And I have a set of French doors out of a skip too. So far I think I’ve spent about £300 on screws alone! Timbers are 75mmx3000 so buying 120mm screws. I did plan on cladding the front but the cost of shakes is crazy! So now I’m just going to burn it in the yakisugi style, while the wife holds the hose! Shed is roughly 4.5mx3m and is 7ft tall with a 6”fall for the roof. (I work in both metric and imperial shoot me).
