Opinion on a British Gas quote

Hi,

We are in need of replacing our 19 year old boiler. We have had issues with our water and heating, the BG engineer had been working on our boiler for 5 days trying to sort it out and he said the issue was all the dirt and debri clogging up the system, he recommended to have a flush or a new boiler as the parts where rusting away as it is 19 years old.

We live in a 1 bedroom 1st floor flat, easy access to flue, no scaffolding required.

British gas has quote £3425 which includes- Tailored extras- Hive system Flush (we need this) Magnetic filter

They have given us an extra £200 off for this week. Bringing it down to £3225. I feel like all those extra discounts is a myth.

Any experts think this is a good price? £3000+ for a 1 bedroom flat boiler feels really excessive, but I don't know.
