How and When Did You Learn About This Trial ?

And when you became aware of the case what prompted you to watch the videos or telecast? And at what point did you become hooked?

I’m originally from the Midwest. At the time of the parade I was living in SoCal. I heard about the parade in the news. Because it happened so close to “home” the reporting caught my attention.

Fast forward 1 year and I heard the trial for that case was beginning. I tuned in probably just after opening statements. It didn’t take me long to get hooked.

Because I had much experience working in the courtroom it didn’t take long for me to hear and see his disrespect of JD and I couldn’t believe it. I couldn’t believe how he was talking to her. I had never witnessed anyone be so disrespectful. I mean, I’ve seen offenders/deFENdents spout off a time or two. Maybe even try to argue with the judge, but I had NEVER witnessed anything that resembled DB in that courtroom. So, I HAD to see what was going to happen next. I watched every minute from that point to sentencing.
