My therapists advice that actually works

I wanted to share, it helped me with extreme picking and hair pulling. I’d have 50+ open sores. I pulled half my hair out of my head.

She asked me when/where I pick.

The stress is hard to control but the location makes it a lot easier to gain control of yourself again ❤️

I pick in my car, and in the bathroom. She told me to try one drive with the urge to not pick. And keep trying to reach that goal. I would go longer and longer without picking. I am still trying, but I haven’t really seen a lot about this method here yet.

Now I only pick mainly in the bathroom, but I’m in the car hours a day.
