Can't get passed the first mission

I kill the dude after you see Eris and Drifter and just before I get to the tablet of Ruin (?), it keeps crashing. Three times it's happened now so sacked it off. Is this a known issue? I know there's been issues with logging in but I left it a few hours to avoid the rush of players coming back. I'll come back at the weekend but this is annoying.
