is doordash even a good job?

I’ve been skeptical on if doordash actually is any good for even just a small side job. I continuously hear people talking about doordash and seeing people post about it on how you make a good amount of money but then when you calculate all the money spent on gas, oil changes, any car maintenance, dash time, etc… that the pay is very little to almost nothing. Idk i just never heard anything good about the money you make from doordash, people make it seem as if your not getting a $20 tip on every single order then doordash isn’t even worth it 😂
