$36 on Steam Good Deal?

Veilguard is 40% off on Steam until next Monday. Is it worth it with all the negative reviews about the writing, character development, etc? I liked Inquisition and played it many hours, but ultimately quit because I found it to be a bit overwhelming and ultimately too time consuming, if that matters. Thanks in advance!
