Does anyone feel like we should’ve got Deep Down instead of Dragons Dogma 2?

Look I love this series a lot. It COULD be peak fantasy rpg in my opinion if they treated it like the BG3 devs treated their game, even with DD2s flaws and not improving aspects of 1, I still love the things that make this series unique. DD2, while still having those Dogma trademarks, is a disappointment when you look at what DD1 already did. With that said, I can’t help but feel like the resources of DD2 could’ve been used to make and release Deep Down already. It’s a weird unique spin on fantasy RPG, like the Dogma games. I wouldve loved for this to come out.
