Anyone ever have a Hall effect sensor die?

Hi just curious if this has ever happened to anyone else because it’s happened to me twice now.

I’ve flat out had 2 different Gulikit TMR sensors completely go out on me. Perfect soldering no issues initially, great calibration, a few days/weeks pass and a random axis no longer works. It maxes out the input. I disassemble the controller, unsolder the bad axis, replace with a new sensor and everything is peachy again. First time it happened it was a customers controller that I commissioned. Gulikit TMR, lasted less than a month.

Today I went to go test a controller I finished yesterday. Did a quick calibration and test yesterday no problem. But today a random axis is maxed out and the sensor shows no signs of life. Disassembled replaced and reassembled. This time it was a Hallpi TMR sensor. As I understand it Gulikit and Hallpi are the same joysticks.

Really curious if anyone’s had one fail I’ve never heard about it. Not to mention Gulikit is the one recommended most over other brands yet the only one I’ve had trouble with. Im starting to think a normal potentiometer isn’t too bad.
