Panthers Free Agency Preview: Which Of These Young Weapons Can Survive Free Agency/The Draft And Break Out?

Sup guys? I've been doing a free agency series where I'm hitting on each team, looking at the weapons for fantasy in terms of the depth chart, the salary cap, contracts, upcoming free agents, you name it. The goal is to see what we can reasonably predict to happen to see if we can take advantage for dynasty. I'll link the article below if anyone wants to check out the full write-ups but here is a quick synopsis for the Panthers.

QB - Bryce Young is locked in so they'll need to figure out if they want to bring free agent Andy Dalton back or find another backup.

RB - Chuba Hubbard is under contract and looks great while Jonathon Brooks will likely start on PUP again recovering from his injury. Miles Sanders is a cut candidate by March 14th as he has a bonus due 3rd day of the league year, Mike Boone is also likely gone. Raheem Blacksheer is an RFA - he's probably not worth the tender but they should try to sign him or they will need special teams help. The Panthers could be a candidate to sign someone to backup Chuba while Brooks recovers.

WR - There are some rumblings that Adam Thielen could retire. Either way, he's obviously getting up there. That could elevate Xavier Legette and Jalen Coker to full-time roles. If you put all WR/TEs in one bucket, the top scoring fantasy WR to finish third on his team in targets was Rashod Bateman at ~WR40 so this offseason is crucial for these two players - they need to maintain their spot atop that pecking order.

TE - Ja'Tavion Sanders is a player I really like - upside comps are guys like Zach Ertz and Hunter Henry as he doesn't have crazy speed but has great hands and short area route-running. Tommy Tremble and Ian Thomas are both free agents so it's not crazy for him to emerge here at TE1. And it's not like he's battling AJ Brown and DeVonta Smith for targets, it's two guys who were also just rookies.

Again, here are the links to the full write-ups that cover ALL the players deeper down the depth chart as well in case you want me thoughts on Dan Chisena and Feleipe Franks. Much more info there but wanted to get the discussion going!
