Did they remove support for OpenXR?

I'm seeing videos on YouTube from like May 2024 where people are playing in OpenXR, albeit with OpenXR toolkit disabled, but i can't seem to get it to run with OpenXR now, i have to switch it to the SteamVR runtime which has shit performance.
