debating whether I should ask a Korean restaurant if they are looking for staff

I’m in love with this little intimate traditional korean restaurant. They’re not looking for staff and I doubt they will say yes, but right now I’m literally scared to even go there to ask because I’m thinking: what will happen when they offer me lunch? they always share staff meals on Instagram and in general working in a restaurant would mean having to deal with food constantly and always being in difficulty. I know this is incredibly stupid but whenever my ed is exposed I feel so miserable and its also the last thing I want to show of myself at a new hypothetical job.
