(Insert Name Here), would you please stop cheating?
We have a regular at our LGS. He shows up every time for Commander nights. The owner jokes that he's at the store as often as the furniture.
We know he doesn't socially interact much apart from coming to the store to play cards.
Overall, we like him and wish him the best.
But he won't stop cheating!
Every game, he seems to always have an explosive turn 1. Even with his so called precons, he hits mana dorks, rocks, ramp all the time.
We'll offer to cut decks before the game. Even when he lets us, he "mulligans" into a hot hand over and over again.
So, he'll get his fast start. But it's not like he stomps us. He just seems so insecure, that he needs to cheat to get that early lead.
Time and time again he'll press his advantage and have a dominant board state, and we're literally telling him to beat us so we can move on to the next game.
But he doesn't "want to win like that."
He'll durdle around, untouchable, until he self mills, or someone else sneaks in a win.
We've tried talking to him. It hasn't worked.
We want him to be there. He is our friend. If we shut him out, he'll just stay at home.
What to do?
