Why do you like playing monocoloured decks?
Howdy folks, I'm back again with another article in my series, The Monolith for EDHREC in which I try to convince more EDH players to build mono decks. Last week I put forward some stats and observations that suggested that decks with just one colour are pretty underrepresented in EDHREC's database, something I'd love to have even a small hand in changing.
A lot of you on here gave your reasonings for why you thought mono decks weren't quite as popular, and why you don't personally run them yourself. But this week I'd like the know the opposite! For everyone that said you were a staunch supporter of just one colour, I'd love to know your whys. What turns you away from gold borders, or why does one monocolour speak to you over others? What do you find fun, interesting, or powerful about building and playing with them?
For my part, here's my reasonings for why I recommend mono decks to anyone looking for a new build challenge on this week's article: https://edhrec.com/articles/5-reasons-why-your-next-commander-deck-should-be-monocolored
