There's something seriously wrong with my playgroup
So this is probably going to sound like a ludicrous problem to have, but I literally never lose commander games with my playgroup. I don't even though what the cause is, we rotate decks frequently, table politics always identifies me as the threat but it always either get convinced by me to focus someone else or it sometimes just feels like there's nothing they can do. These guys aren't the brightest bunch, and I also always win at more strategic boardgames like Root, Arcs, and Dune, but with Magic being a game impacted decently by rng, I don't understand what is going on.
I feel like it's user error on their part, but all they have to do is play the cards in hand, but it feels like that never happens. I'm almost always ahead by turn 3, and when I'm not I always find a way to equalise through boardwipes or quickly ramp up. We only play with Precon decks that are around the same powerlevel. This might be the bloomborrow set, or the commander starters. It literally never changes, every game is the same, and I'm miserable. How can I help them get better/more consistent at piloting a deck? We've played dozens of games and they aren't improving at all. I'm thinking about just throwing the next few games we play for some variety.
