Who’s the most underrated boss in the game?

Yesterday, I asked who’s the most overrated boss in the game, today I’m asking, who’s the most underrated?

For me, it has to be Renalla, the majority seem to dismiss her because she’s not difficult and she uses magic. Even though part of the appeal of these games is the difficulty, I never considered it a requirement for appreciating a boss fight, there are so many other aspects to consider, especially when the boss isn’t absurdly easy, I mean she’s not Pinwheel or anything.

I find her to be among the most aesthetically pleasing bosses in the game, the arena, the character design, the cutscenes were all gorgeous. I love that she’s both a gimmick fight and an actual boss who can pose a challenge the first time you encounter her. The gimmick part is not tedious, it’s engaging enough and feeds into her lore, the second phase has one of the most beautiful arenas in the game, and the fact that it’s all an illusion created by Ranni is mind-blowing. And to top it all, the soundtrack is an easy top 5 for me.
