Is Gurranq Malekith?

Know this is probably a stretch to say the least, since Gurranq still showed up for me after beating the game so I got to complete his quest, but so far I haven't seen anyone make any connections to him or state that it's a different person. So far:

1: I haven't met any other beast clergymen enemy types that fit his model that would give me reason to believe it's a different character.

2: D seemed to have prior knowledge to Gurranq for the Death Root quest and adds more context to the relationship if Gurranq is really Malekith.

3: Gurranq turning into Malekith would wrap up his entire arc quest on him wanting to consume death, especially after he disappears and curses Marika

I'm sure this was pretty obvious and everyone else already got it, but I thought I'd bring it up anyway.
